5 – Recover by taking a few steps backward before going on to the next set of lunges. Again, try for 10 to 12 reps with each leg before doing another set.

6 – Make sure that when you push off, you are pushing with your heel to get the most power out of the lunge. Use the wall for balance if needed. Keep your back straight and bend at the knee to lower yourself into position; don’t lean forward! If this is too difficult, decrease the distance between legs (slightly) and the height of the wall to compensate.
